The North West Regional Final of Rostrum Voice of Youth was held at 18禁色情片 Regional College on Thursday 15 October. 18禁色情片 had three students competing in the Junior Program: Lily,听Emily听and Charlotte. There were twelve competitors from North West schools in the Junior Program and two students competing in the Senior听P谤辞驳谤补尘.听听
The speaking competition is in two parts: a听six-minute听prepared speech and a听three-minute听short notice (15–minutes preparation) speech. In the prepared speech, Lily spoke on the topic of 鈥渢he right attitude鈥�, Emily,听鈥渁n incredible discovery鈥� and Charlotte,听鈥渁 story that matters鈥�.听
All students prepared and presented their speeches to a very high standard. As there were twelve competitors in the junior competition, the juniors were divided into two groups with a winner announced in each group. Charlotte impressed the adjudicators with both her speeches and was judged the regional winner in her group. She will now progress to the state final of Rostrum Voice of Youth which will be held in Launceston on Saturday,听24 October.听
