18½ûÉ«ÇéƬ

This week, the Year 7 students began their journey in 18½ûÉ«ÇéƬ Regional College’s exciting Visual Art program. They were greeted with the sketches and studies theyÌýcompleted whilst on the 2022 Orientation Day.ÌýÌý

These students enthusiastically moved outside of their comfort zone in more ways than one. They worked to some very tight timeframes to complete several short studies using the ‘continuous line’ method and one large resolved still life artwork – all within a 45-minute lesson.ÌýÌý

We look forward to watching them refine their skills over years to come and develop their own style and motivation for art-making. They have shown they have a keen eye for detail, and they value growth and creativity. They are going to fit right in!Ìý
